Pic of the Day--New computer

Post by Hank Zumach »

Hi--Well, I went out and bought this really fast computer with more space than I will ever fill up. Now, all I have to do is figure out how to get the files from my old computer over to the new one. :o Apparently this is going to involve a trip back out to the computer store and buying some software and a cable of some sort. Once all that gets done I should be able to re-start my Pic of the Day.

Ours is two weeks old, with the new Vista operating system. We are still trying to figure out how to do stuff, but one good thing is that all my hosta pics and info transferred with no problems. Be patient, and have a big bottle of wine nearby. I always look forward to seeing your Pics of the Day.

Good luck ,Hank! That sounds like one of my worse nightmares!! I'm not that computer literate so anything to do with the puter is very stressful. I hope the transfer all goes smoothly and you'll be back with the POTD soon.

Hello Hank,

You said, and I quote:
I went out and bought this really fast computer with more space than I will ever fill up
Well, like there's no hostaholic with "enough hosta", there is no computer with "more space than I'll ever fill up".

Can't wait to see your next pictures.

Love from Belgium
