Everything looks great here, especially after all that rain. Only one hosta with frost damage, and almost everything's up. I might have lost one or two to rampaging squirrels that were digging everywhere. :evil:

I have no idea what this hosta is, but I like it. Oh, yeah, note the broken leaf. I also have rampaging rabbits.

The squirrels seem to leave my hostas alone but love to dig near them.
I used to have a dog that chased them away but now have a dog that eats them so maybe the population will go down.

Nice start on a collection - but you definitely need MORE HOSTAS!!! :P

I have a neighbor next door who feeds the squirrels ear corn year round. Aside from finding a corn stalk sprouting once in a while or visiting my crab apple tree when they're ripe, I've never had a problem from them digging up anything.

:lol: Reldon.. you are right, but I do think bengal have more than 3 hostas...

Note to all of you with too large hostas .. newbies need your help :wink:
