Swirls

A nice small breeder plant.
Sport of Ani Machi / Geisha (I prefer the second)
Green with Gold streaks.

I think this one stands on its own even with a late summer fade to green.

That's nice! How old is it? Is it going to keep its streaks?

That's a neat little plant. :P Have you used Swirls in the past in your breeding program? I was trying to remember if I'd ever seen a seedpod set on my Geisha - but I sure don't recall that I have. All I can remember are ugly dried scapes that never get removed. :-? I'll definitely be paying attention this year.

Sorry but I did not see the question - no I have not used it in breeding yet but plan on doing it this year.

Swirls is also one of my favorite streaked mini's... Here's an August 2006 picture of it, you can see it's starting to green up. For size reference, that's Touch of Class peeking in from the left... I do not recall Swirls setting any seed pods last year...
