Terrific David!

I bought WP at the end of the season last year, and had no idea this is what it would look like in the Spring. I checked it out last night after seeing your pic, and I was shocked that it was so beautiful.

Since my Niagara Falls has disappeared last year or maybe before that, I'm thinking that someday when I replace it I'll get War Paint instead. Essentially getting 2 beautiful plants for the price of one. :P  Just trying to maximize my space here.

Thank you so much guys for the compliments. Wish I could inject the leaf with formaldehide, (sp), put it behind glass and frame it  Hmmmm, I wonder if that has ever been done??

I really don't know the procedure to display the picture on the hosta library, maybe somone can clue me in.

Thanks again,

David

I have seen hosta leaves successfully dried and mounted in shadow-box frames. They probably used the silica gel/microwave technique.
