Hostas in Pots
I finally got a chance to get some pics of my potted hosta. I am really liking them in pots. Much more versatile this way. I can move them from sun to shade as needed, no critters other than a few munching bugs to worry about, and they look really pretty
Included are the 4 new ones I got from Chris on Monday.

I'm like an elephant ~ unless it's something I'm trying to remember.
Seeing your pic of Lemon Lime next to Hydon Sunset was the 1st time I've thought of the name for Hydon Sunset since I posted about having __________ confused with Lemon Lime a week ago. It's he(( to get old. The mind is the 1st thing to go.....

I know what you mean. They do look a lot alike. They are both a bit green now due to the heavy cloud cover the last 2 weeks. They have had very little sun.
Once thing I noticed having my Hosta potted and right next to each other is the abiltiy to tell the ones that share the same charecteristics (sp?). Like Bridal Veil and Abba. They are almost exactly alike except for the edges. And June and Halcyon, and so on and so on. I think I will learn more about the different kinds this way.

Hi Pia. We have some very humid days here in OK. I don't have pots under them so they will drain well during all this rain. I doubt I will put any under them even when it gets hot. I want them to have good drainage, and I don't like any standing water due to the mosquitoes. They get really bad.
Thanks for the nice comments!

OC like Hostas in pots too
I have water up to the deck for my Liliums, so when I water them I water the Hosta or if we have had some really hot dry weather (not lately)
