Great Expectations with sport/without sport

Post by SUEDIA »

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share how nice my Great Expectations looks after I performed surgery on it to remove the blue sport attached to it. Linda P gave me great advice and the confidence to go for it. I sure didn't want to lose my Great Exp to a blue sport or to a bad surgeon  Anyway it is looking like it never had a sport on it.
What should I name the blue part? Just blue Great Exp Sport???
Thanks,
Sue

Hi Sue,

Looks great :)

Since Great Expectations is itself a sport from Elegans then the solid blue would be considered a reversion back to Elegans. You could label it Elegans if you want.

Chris,
Thanks so much for your quick reply. I needed another Elegans so that is what I will put on the tag. This forum has helped me so much. Just dumb luck when I started and planted this one in clay, shows that it really likes it where it is at. I planted two others in good black soil and they died. Can't figure them out. Reldon, this one came out looking good, I have an Independence that I will have to post pictures of tonight for advice on that one.
Anyway thanks for all your help.
