Show your Tiara

These are three of the Tiara's.
Care to add your pictures to the list?

I probably have a couple more out there yet but would rather see others pictures.

This is one of my PT's. I particularly like it for how it turns an absolutely gorgeous pale colour, in plenty of light, like you see in the 2nd shot. Those kept mostly in the shade will stay pale green. The 2nd shot is from early July '06 and at this point it receives probably 6 hours of direct sun, from about 8AM through to 2PM or so. With that much sun there was some burn out, so this year I'll find an alternate location with either later sun or nothing beyond about 11AM, need to avoid that midday sun.

I used to have a nice Tiara bed that since got nematodes. After treatment it never flourished.

Well it's not my fault cause I tried to resist but this afternoon we stopped at a nursery and I happen to run into Amber Tiara and bought it. $10.00 for 4 eyes. Is that a good price?

I already have Golden Tiara on order with Chris for June so that makes two. Really want that Grand Tiara too!

My Grand Tiara came from Hallson's in the spring of 2003. It was just eyes up an inch or so when they dug & sent it. When it unfurled, I had 7 Grand Tiara divisions and 4 Amber Tiara divisions. :o 8-) So I got 2 for the price of one. Can't remember what it cost now, but at the time Chris said AT was selling for more than GT so it was a pretty good deal. LOL As you can see from the pics I posted of them, AT is just as vigorous as GT since they're basically the same size now & have been for the last year or so.

After looking at all those bushy Tiaras, I should toss my puny ones away. But I'm the one who subjected them to hot water baths and evil chems. Who knew they'd punish me now?

Molly, love your aka. :D

A hot water bath is the recommended treatment for a foliar nematode infestation. They manifest in August and are very hard to control.
