I think this is the Savory's introduction - right?? Does the margin turn white later? I have one of their catalogs from several years ago & I'm pretty sure it's one of the color pics. But the margin is very white.

Yours is another beauty!!

Ren, you're correct. As to the margins, don't know, the plant looked nothing like this last year, the margins were narrow and the plant small. I was pleasantly shocked to see it look like this, this year.
Debbie, don't know what the unlitmate size will be, its a young plant.

That 2005 catalog just happens to be on my nightstand for a little light reading.

I read a page or 2 of hosta listings & descriptions & I can sleep soundly.

Here's the description for Ivory Coast:
Large - large light green leaves w/a wide slightly rippled, creamy white margin. Upright w/a moderate growth rate.
Very striking as a specimen plant.

Registration lists it as a Sagae sport from Dennis Savory, reg. in 1999. Reg. size: 20" H x 24" W; leaves 8" W x 9.5" L; 12 vein pairs; light green w/a 1.5" wide creamy white margin, slightly rippled margin.

I also say it reminds me of Liberty only a bit more upright ... love that color!

Well, I'm thinking of that other Sagae sport, Magic Fire instead of LIberty. Liberty doesn't have those wavy leave edges
