Hi All--As I write these daily descriptions, I ususally try to think of something unique to say about each variety, but I'm having a hard time thinking of something unique to say about Verna Jean.
Hmmm.... Is it me or is it Verna Jean? ( this last sentence does sound like a good title for a country and western song)
I purchased this plant in 1998 and it has been growing in a spot that gets only an hour or so of direct sun, depending on the time of the year. Its growth rate was somewhat slow and it has never quite made it to Zilis' listing of 36x12. The plant looks rather tired by late summer. Slugs only have a passing interest in Verna Jean too.
