Hi All--Today's plant is named for Mildred Seaver, one of the premier hosta breeders, creator of the "Sea" series and a long list of other well known varieties. Mildred Seaver, the plant, joined our garden in 1995 and has not moved from her spot that gets about 3 hours of afternoon sun in mid-summer. MS has been a very good, steady performer, with an average growth rate. Its measurements over a five year period were 61x29, 58x24, 52x27, 57x24 and 60x33. Zilis lists it at 62x27. Slug problems have been easily controlled.
