Hi All--Since I got Old Glory in 2002 it has been growing in a spot that gets about an hour or two of afternoon sun. It is a variety that quickly developed into an attractive, bright spot in the garden. In only its 3rd year it reached the 36x14 registration size given in Lemke's Data Base and then kept on growing. Its measurements have been 18x11, 29x9, 38x14, 42x18, 51x23 and 55x21. The pix are from 2002, 2004, and 2007.

Mine are growing well, fast. I recommend it... I was not too impressed when I first saw a small one, early in the season, but it's so much better with just a year's growth.
H. 'Glory' is great with it too, the all gold version.
