Hmmm...I can see Hallsonites running out to their gardens with tape measure in hand. My NF is recovering from a rescue operation a couple years ago (had a BIG root growing right through it!) and I just got T-Rex last week.
One S&S bit the dust last year, but I could go out and measure the other one. I've been wondering for some time now how big the leaves on my Lady Isobel Barnett are, so perhaps I'll measure them today too.
But Mal, WHERE are the pics of your giants???
Off I go to find a measuring device!

Just want to see how my growth stacks up with more favorable locations. My hot dry summers of S. Oregon causes many of my flowering plants (roses) to go into a summer dormancy, and all energy seems to be reserved for just "stayin-alive".

My Niagara Falls and T-Rex are both 3rd year plants and not that impressive yet but.....

Sum and Substance - 17.5 * 15
Solar Flare - 18 * 11
Blue Angel - 15 * 13
Blue Umbrellas - 15.5 * 12
Mr. Big - 16 * 12

There might be some others of this size out there but this is a quick look.

It looks like mine in pots are running 2+ inches smaller, and using fish emulsion--what are you using?

I have Olga's Golden Gate that show promise of developing a large leaf as it matures---mine i13". It's definitely gold, and is starting to corrugate nicely......

Being in pots I can have more of the large varieties....
