Thunderboldt & Guardian Angel

Post by SUEDIA »

Thought I would share a couple of pictures I took the other night as I was pulling weeds and sweating in this humid weather we have been having. Hope you like them.

That's by far the prettiest Thunderbolt I have ever seen! Mine died after the first year. I was going to replace it until I heard all the disappointing reports about it. I may reconsider! :D

:D :D :D Seems you are having some dry weather too. Looks like ours may be breaking this week-end. Sure hope they are right.

Do you mind if OC down loads the picture of the thunderbolt to show some friends, You WILL get full credit for the picture.

OC anticipating cool weather soon and some more rain....

Nice! I have 2 thunderbolts and hoping one of them grows up to be as nice as yours. The other is fighting roots and really needs moving. Always something! Great pics!

OC I would be honored if you want to download the picture of Thunderboldt to show others. I feel like I finally have a few that are growing like they should from all of the information that I have gained from this forum. Please go and show to all you want to. I will try to post some more pictures of a few others that are really showing off this year. We have been having some rain but not like the northern part of Iowa has had. Allot of flooding. I think we are going to have a nice weekend also. I sure hope so as I need to get somemore hostas into the ground.
Take Care,
Sue

My Thunderbolt died last year, but I keep thinking I will try again every time I see a picture. My Guardian Angel looks similar to yours, though it might be smaller next year since I just moved it. Definately one of my favorites.

Thanks for the pics!
