HI All--Today's plant, Paintbrush, is a nice variety with pleasing, but subtle, variegation. In our Friendship Garden we have it placed near the pathway so it can be more easily appreciated. In its two years in that spot it has measured 12x4 and 11x5 but I expect it to eventually get at least twice that size. We do have another one of this variety that had reached a size of 29x10 before being sprayed. The first photo is the plant from the Friendship Garden and because it had a rough year with some critter and doesn't look its best, I am also showing the other plant from 2005.

I just got this over the summer, and thought it looked a lot like Olive Branch, but with a different margin width. I looked up and they are not related at all.
It has the same butterscotch green center.
