Hi All--Two day ago I had Blue Mammoth as the Pic of the Day. Today's variety, Wooly Mammoth, is a gold edged sport of Blue Mammoth that is showing signs of being an excellent plant in our Friendship Garden. I have not been able to find good information on the expected mature size of Wooly Mammoth but if it ends up in the vicinity of the 65 inch wide size for its parent, Wooly Mammoth will be a real attention grabber. So far our plant has shown a good growth rate, going from 19x11 in 2006 to a much fuller 24x7 this past summer. Just wait until next year!
