Hi All--Today's plant is the last in the series from our favorite area, the Friendship Garden. As chance would have it, the plant's name is Heart Broken. This is an interesting cultivar with unusual heart shaped leaves that start out yellow and become green as the season progresses (the hosta pros call this "viridescent"). Like all of the plants in the Friendship Garden, Heart Broken grows in full shade. So far its growth has been a bit slow, measuring 6x3 in 2006 and 8x3 in 2007. The registration size is listed at 20x8.
