What does your dream hosta look like ?

Post by thy »

Bored here, I could cut my grass edges, but I really do not like that job.. other wise.. I have to wait for real spring...
Dreaming.. wondering ....

How would your dream hosta look.. I have begged for a blue Praying Hands for years....
So a Praying Hands in a soft dusty blue with a pure white marging - Yes thank you

A Kiwi Full Monthy with slightly wavy edges and a long twisted tip .. sort of Rngtail one -- YES

A very blue streaked Krossa Regal with piecrust edges Oh sure

Told you .. bored here

Nice choices, Pia! :P

I'd like to see a heavily pie-crusted round leaf, don't know if that is possible, though.

I have always thought a variegated 'Love Pat' would be very cool. I do have the streaked version, 'Paradise Suprise'....so maybe one day!!

Last, I'd like to see a seedling or sport of 'Jade Cascade' that has all the parent's traits, but is a different color than green. ( I love JC, and green Hostas, but ....)
Wouldn't a yellow centered blue-green margined plant that looked just like Jade Cascade be sweet??? :D

Just Dreaming, like you said..........

Those hostas sound beautiful, I would order one of each, especially the Jade Cascade & Praying Hands ! How about a giant Azure Snow w/ light turquoise streaks?? 8-) Or how about a Ring Tail the color of Fox Fire Moon? Yummy.

Hi Jo!
Good to see you too! I know, it's been awhile since I've been around. Life has been throwing me some curve balls. And just when I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, I lost my Mom in a house fire March 24th. One of my sisters barely made it out, but she was unable to get to my Mom. It really messes with ya, to have to stand and watch the home you grew up in burn, and know that your mom is still inside.
