My Hallsons Hostas

Post by Spider »

Here are at least two of them. I'm still waiting to go digital. These were taken after being planted for four days. They are in 12" pots and are now reaching out the 12". These are clickable thumbnails. :)

Not sure it actually is Pauls Glory, it is all one color and doesn't look like it's even thinking of having a darker edge. The leaves have flattened out a bit, but still have some wave.

I love this planter, won't it look nice with Cameo in it?

Hi Spider,

Don't worry about Paul's Glory. The center will lighten as time goes by, but yes, it does come up a solid color :)

I hope they all do good for you!

They've been doing great so far. :) Poor Phantom got an eye rubbed pretty hard when I was planting it so it has some damaged leaves. Reptillian is covering the pot, you can't hardly see any mulch. Halcyon is very blue and Bridegroom is starting to show it's leaf shape. I hesitated posting the question about Paul's Glory, I didn't want to look a gift horse in the mouth you know. It is growing very well and has a dusty blueish green haze on it. The sun was still on them past noon today, I think they may be watered more considering that (they got thirsty today :) )

Hopefully I get to go digital soon!

Thank you Chris!

They look good! It's amazing how big the hostas get once they pop their eyes out of the ground. I swear some of mine seem to have grown six inches over night!
You'll like that Paul's Glory. It's very pretty. :)

The back side has a frog climbing over the edge. It's about 8" straight up and down with one drainage hole. :)
