'White Feather' question

Post by playinmud »

White feather was new to me last season, it was greening up by the time I purchased and planted it in a new hosta bed. It emerged looking fabulous this Spring, very full, but now it is melting fast (gets 2 1/2 hours of early afternoon sun).

Obviously I chose the wrong location. I don't want to lose it, so I'm thinking of transplanting it to a new spot. I'm wondering what sunlight this plant needs to thrive. Does anyone have it in their garden, what light works for you?

Thanks!

I have mine in a pot

Early spring.. a week or 2 before I expect to see eyes I move it to al full shaded area... in my gazebo ? Sp :-? shade house on my patio
here it emerge... pure white and then after 3 to 4 weeks i start to give it some sun.. to let it green up
It need to green up to grow and from my experience to be shaded before the eýes emerge... othervise it emerge streaked green and white
