'Winter Lightning'

Wow, Allen... nice one! Much more evenly uneven than mine... and mine has now mostly sported to nothing special. Be ruthless in keeping it variegated and removing solid sports!

PS was just updating my hosta list last night and came across your nice note from the secret trade last year... thanks again for your thoughtful selections. All of them are up and doing well, though given our late spring and their dark, protected locations, they are still just emerging eyes with no leafing out.

Hi Allen,

It is good to see markings on all of the leaves still, although some have a lot more green than others. Like JGH mentions, be diligent about removing any solid green eyes as those could take over after a while.

It will probably be a few years before we sell this one again as I have a lot of work to do on the ones we have left, but it certainly is a unique one :)
