Help with an Id ?

Post by got the hosta bug »

Hi Gang,

This is one of my first hostas I ever bought. At the time I was not a hostaholic and I tossed the tag. I'm sure it's a fairly common variety !

Thanks

Thanks Gang for id'ing it for me. I believe the plant is 3 years old this summer. Most of my 800 plants are in pots waiting to find their way to my future acreage. I started collecting in late 2006. I have about 10 plants that I misplaced tags for but I didn't want to bore you all with trying to I'd them for me.
I've been following this forum for a couple of weeks now and have read thru about a hundred of the postings and I must say that this forum is full of the most pleasant people around. It's great to be able to have you all as inspiration and as valuable references. Thanks again for your help.

Glad we could help you out, Glenn. :) If you'd like some more help IDing your others - go ahead. I'm sure someone can give you a name or help you figure it out.

And you're right about the Hallson forums. Nicest place online I think. I haven't even looked at any other garden forums since I found this one. :P

Such a beautiful June you got there, Glenn! And , by all means, go ahead and post the others you need help IDing! It's always fun to try and come up with the correct name, even for those like myself who aren't very good at it.
