New Purchases...Thanks Chris and Brian!

Post by steg »

Well, on the way to vacation my wife and I stopped at Hallson's for the second time this year. A little easier without the 2 little ones with us. I must say the Chris and Brian and incredible. We really enjoyed the visit and talking with them. Customer service must be #1 on their list. I didn't let Chris know who we were this time or that we were coming (sorry, not intentional, just worked out that way). Believe it or not he did recognize us and was able to put it together in a short time. I was quite impressed. They really are fantastic.

It seems that there was a little sale going on and we just couldn't help ourselves. Somehow we came home with 20 new additions (mostly hostas). Looking around today when we got home.....we've got some serious digging and moving to do. I'm not sure where they will all go. Somehow we'll find room - I have faith.

We came home with:
Lil' Abner
Dragon Tails
Lullabye
Lakeside Dragonfly
First Frost
American Halo
Guardian Angel
Night Before Christmas
Tokudama Aureonebulosa
Diva
Jewel of the Nile
Climax
May
Yin

Let's not forget about the -
Soft Needle Fern
Bugbane
Lilly Cappuccino
Lilly Tiger Play
Iris Tennison Ridge
Iris Armageddon

We really couldn't be happier. Thanks again Chris.

This year has been mostly kind to us, so its nice to see the hostas looking good even for late August and early September. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a picture, Mike! Hope you had a great vacation :)

I try to remember people, names, and faces, but to be honest without a few clues from you I wouldn't have remembered :P

And if anyone else is nearby and wants to stop out we are having a clearance sale on everything left in pots, to save us from having to replant it all. Everything left is buy 2 get a 3rd free or buy 10 get 10 free. I know Mike and his wife Stephanie weren't planning to get 20 plants, but once you get close to the first 10 the next 10 are hard to pass up ;)

Thanks again!

Buy 10, get 10......great deal and finding the first 10 was easy - not that we had any trouble with the second 10 either

We had a great time. Everything is planted now and it looks like rain every couple of day for the next week. I'll take it. We did have to shuffle a few around and remove a couple duplicates, but that's fine with me.

We may have to do it again next year!
