Stereoscopic view of emerging hosta bed

Post by HostaDesigner »

Just playing around today at lunch. Here is one of the hostas beds full of trillium emerging in the warmth.

For anyone not familiar with stereoscopic photos, look at the full photo with seemingly two identical photos side-by-side...and cross your eyes slightly until the two photos merge together in the middle. Then, the 3D magic happens. Enjoy, and have a great afternoon everyone!

GREAT pic! Did you say TRILLIUM? ....need to go looking for wild leek and morels.

Back to your pic. It is amazing what can be done with pics now. I have that feature on my camera, but I haven't learned to use it yet. Looks like I need to get playing to make pics like yours. :D

Cross your eyes "slightly"?

That is really neat. I had to cross my eyes a lot, then really work to refocus, but once that was done that is a really cool thing :D

That is so cool. I had a little trouble at first, but when Chris said he had to cross his eyes quite a bit that helped. Beautiful pic.

Ha! No headaches wanted...I'll do a few more when things get bigger. I'll use a tripod this time to minimize the cross-eyed effect. :)
