I use Halcyon alot in my garden to draw attention to another hosta. It works especially well if the other hosta has halcyons blue in it somewhere. What is your workhorse or go to hosta?
God walked with man in Eden's shade,
Christ sought a garden when He prayed.
Halcyon is also one of my favorites and always stands out well. I use some yellows like Fire Island or Sea Dream to set off dark greens or blues, and I like to take Enterprise and put it up against an all green like Royal Standard.
Thats what I love about pots, being able to move them around at whim
I have been limited to one of each for years exept h. June, I neeeeded more than one
Only one I can think of is Lemon lime, it could easyli be in a corner or between bigger ones up to a border .

Beautiful colors!!!! I love those toadstools in the first pic, too.
I guess my workhorse would have to be Royal Standard. I like the bright fresh green of it as a soothing backdrop to the more flamboyant types,
and then when they all burst into bloom, it's heavenly. I have them scattered about the entire yard, since they can take a lot of sun they are in the sunnier
gardens as well as the shady ones.

not so sure but I think my work horse would be Sieboldiana elegans or Krossa regal Halcyon also is a good choice funny how workhorses tend to be slower blues tho deffo not a race horse then !!!
