Speckles on the leaves

Many types have speckles running along the pedicle and into the leaf but I have not seen one that goes as much as Purple Heart but this might just be a random leaf. ( I have seen some pictures of Almost that go pretty far.)

Thanks for comparing all of those different red stemmed plants Ed. Yes, Purple Heart really comes up into the leaf a lot, especially the new growth on our plants this summer. Some of the smaller leaves probably had red coming up into about 20% of the leaf. Pretty impressive!

I can't wait to find a good source for Secret Treasure. That looks promising
