Name: H. 'Peanut'

Description: Leaves are oval and heavily corrugated, lightly cupped, white in the centre with a dark green edge that often streaks toward the centre.
Size: Tiny (9"w x 5"h)
Origin: Parentage Unknown
Flowers: Purple striped, bell-shaped flowers in midsummer.

Added to garden: Spring 2008
Notes: It was registered with unknown parentage but it may be a stabilized form of a streaked plant of H. 'Lakeside Dot Com', which would really make it simply a reversion back to the parent.

Here's 'Peanut' after splitting off a section that was reverting to 'Goober.' I got two hostas out of it.

Only a small amount of growth for this one.

Here is mine from late Spring after removing a goober about a month ago. Very slow grower-as you can tell by the small size-this was not from Chris

2014 - still not growing. I DID move it in the spring; so I'll give it some time in the new location. Photo July 16.

2015 - Aug. 13. Mine is mostly hidden under the edge of Wheee! and it seems to like hiding there.

I lost this one in 2016 when the other half of the family rebuilt the collapsing walkway next to where it is planted and mounded stone dust on top of it. It was getting smaller anyway.
