Name: H. 'Little Sunspot'

Description: Bright golden, heart-shaped leaves, each surrounded by a vivid, dark green border. As the plant matures, the border widens and becomes even darker. Great substance and multiplies rapidly.
Size: 12"w x 5"h although mine is now larger than the registered size.
Origin: sport of H. 'Little Aurora' (Briggs Nursery)
Flowers: white tubular with lavender stripes on tall scapes
Added to garden: Spring 2007

Those are great looking Little Sunspots. I planted a second LS in the same spot after I lost my first and it took.

Another plant that is in its 8th year in my garden. I still like it a lot. Picture from July 8, 2014.

Two years ago I moved things around in my garden and placed 'Warwick Curtsey' next to LS. The colours are roughly reversed from one another. This shows them side by side (though LS isn't completely showing). Photo also July 8.

2017 update. This one seems slightly rhizomatous but the new growth is not as large. In 2018, I plan to dig the smaller sections and grow them in a pot while adding extra compost to that part of the garden. July 12.
