Name: H. 'Heavenly Tiara'

Description: leaves start out with a gold center that turns to chartreuse surrounded by a very wide creamy white border.
Size: Medium (30"w x 16"h)
Origin: Walter's Gardens - sport of 'Grand Tiara'.
Flowers: dark purple flowers that appear midsummer
Added to garden: Spring 2011 - an impulse buy from a sale table

Notes: Started out in a pot, but by late July I had found a spot in the garden for this, having moved one that looked too much like part of the next hosta.

This one has seen only modest growth over the last 2 years. Mid-July 2014.

2015. This one was suddenly in full sun due to the loss of a tree. It was too much sun and I moved it, but it still was in too much sun and will be moved again. This pic July 3 and it was already a bit faded.

By July 25 the effect of too much sun was even more obvious.

2016 update. It was moved Autumn 2015 and much prefers the new location.

Between a very dry, sunny year in 2016 and a very wet year in 2017, this one grew a LOT. Obviously really likes the new location.
