Sport of Raspberry Sorbet
4 or 5 years ago I found an eye of Raspberry Sorbet with a couple pure white streaked leaves so I separated it to play the waiting game, hoping that it would eventually stabilize to something.
Last summer one eye had most of its leaves starting to show a white center. This summer the same eye seemed to come back with even better markings so I finally got some pictures to share. Next summer I plan to finally separate the clump which has about 10 eyes total but only a few streaked and then this one with the white center. Hopefully it will grow well enough on its own.
So what do you think?

Nice Chris, hope at least one shoot stabilizes into a medio variegated version, sorta like 'Raspberry Ice Cream' or 'Raspberry Eskimo Pie', though the latter is probably considered to be not PC. It'll be a sight with the RS flowers, something to look forward to.
Re: Sport of Raspberry Sorbet
Good luck, Chris! The only Raspberry Sorbet sports I've seen had muted gold markings. This is much showier!

Cool sport. Hope it develops into something nice. Keep up up to date with what happens next year.

Very nice Chris!
Re: Sport of Raspberry Sorbet
Good luck with it, Chris! I hope it will grow for you on its own.
Does anyone (Josh?) know if Rasperry Sundae (a Terra Nova PPAF plant) is related to Raspberry Sorbet?
The pics in the library look like it could be, but there is no information in the database about the history of the plant.

Re: Sport of Raspberry Sorbet
Raspberry Sundae is, I believe, totally different and so far the origins of the plant are a deep dark secret. Or so I was told when I posted mine just after I bought it and asked if anyone knew anything.

No, they aren't related, Linda...not directly, anyway.
