I tracked down a 'Don Stevens' to go in my new front garden - it didn't flower this season, probably not enough sun.
Some history about this plant in my garden: it came out of Art Wrede's Azalea Patch Nursery in Maryland. In the late 2000's place his was hit by a tornado that tore-up his hoop houses and put him out of business. The remnants of his stock were left to the elements and deer. They soon became overgrown with vines and weeds. He still had his "special" area for his breeding program. When I went down to visit him, he would let me wander the area and salvage some things. This is one of those plants.

Continuing the previous page from last season:

Don Stevens did not make it into the garden last season. But this season David Reath did not survive in the new garden so it got replaced by a Don Stevens - I didn't have another DR to put in its place - my other DR is doing well in my back garden.

Here it is set in the garden - to the left is Alan Titchmarsh, in front is Austin Dickinson. The two other plants are seedlings of Miss Angie from Art Wrede - top is Miss Miranda and right is Miss Angela Danielle.
