Hostas in the mail

Post by ogrefcf »

Got and email from chris and my order of Hostas are in the mail and should be here Wednesday! Needless to say I'm a little excited, 17 new Hostas coming. Better than Christmas or a Birthday if ya ask me! i'll get some pics when they get here. I also need to say thanks to Chris and Brain again and hope they don't mind me doing it here. Chris very generously gave me quite a few Hostas for my son, Linkin's, bed. They kindness they showed for someone they hardly know almsot half a country away is overwhelming. Thank you so much.

There's nothing quite like getting a package in the mail. Not surprised that Chris and Brian would be so generous in helping you get a bed in your son's honor and memory started. Excuse me...I think I need a tissue.

Link's main bed. Jurassic park in the center, Rainbows end, Radiant Star, and Rubies and Ruffles all on the outside.

And where the big Hostas went. Now to figure out what else I want in it. Atlantis, Devil's Advocate, Montana Aureomarginata, and Abba Dabba Do. The entire bed is compost, wood chips, and leaves that sat all last year.

I am really luck to have a rock quarry a mile away. $20 a truck load and a sore back and you got some awesome rocks. I really was picky with the rocks in my son's bed.

It looks wonderful. I, too, love the big rocks. The Japanese lantern statue is also very calming.

Pia, I am using it again myself right now.
That bed will be so wonderful, Owen. The little shovel and the pinwheel are just special touches.
Okay, Pia...here ya go. Kleenex coming your way.
