Leola Fraim - Should I be worried?

Post by tinkettlecreek »

I noticed her looking terrible this morning. Any chance this is just from her being moved / overwintering in a pot / spending spring in a greenhouse / occasionally used in place of a hydrant by my Lab? Or could it be something more serious?

Looks like it's been wet and the sun has scortched the edge. Nothing at all to worry about.

That could explain the browning/watery patches, which could also have been cold damage, but those patches that are sunken with bumps inside really do look like Hosta Virus X. Even the small sunken spots that show up a little farther down the leaves look like HVX. Do you see any of this on the newest leaves, if so, get rid of it.

Sorry :(

Crap. I knew it didn't quite look right this year :( It's dimpled on the small, new leaves as well.
