Hosta of the Day - Rosedale Misty Pathways

Post by redcrx »

I got Rosedale Misty Pathways in 2009. I had it in the ground for a couple of years but it was fading. I moved it into a trough in 2011. It is looking good this season with some leaves showing a "glow" between the center and margin.

I had a beautiful one, big and gorgeous and showing that glow. One year it declined significantly, and the following year it was gone altogether. Had no clue that it was a fussy grower.
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten.....

Mine was a single leaf late in 2011 when I moved it to the trough.

I moved my Rosedale Misty Pathways into my "New Garden" last season and it seems to like the space. That's Pin-up and High Fashion to the right and Cleopatra on the left.
