This bedraggled hosta was in the hosta bed at my church when I was working there. It could have come from anywhere as certainly people seem altogether too willing to accept any hosta offered up. Anyway, I dug it out and brought it home. Put it in a pot and am watching it carefully for signs of disease. It is putting out quite a bit of new growth, but also looks as though it may have some sporting going on.
I just wondered if anyone would like to venture a guess as to its variety. So far this year, no blooms. To give you an idea of size, you can see some of my seedlings in styrofoam cups near it.

Might just be something like Frances Williams, though I don't really see any spring burn on it. You may have to grow it a while to see its true colors and shape and size.
