Hi all. Haven't posted in awhile, but have always been lurking; personal stuff, but coming out on the other side so to speak. Anyway, lost a bunch of hostas this winter (mostly the dwarf varieties) and was out looking at a bed I hadn't checked on since the winter thaw, and there was a hosta there that had disappeared the previous season.question, can they do that, or am I delusional? I've attached a pic (hopefully) of what I believe to be my resurrected Embroidery. One eye, but it's there.
Thanks for input,
Donna a.k.a. Playinmud

Re: Do they come back?
Donna, I've moved hostas in the past, and apparently left behind a small piece of crown, and had the same hosta pop up there a year or two later. Maybe there was just a small bit of crown still alive and it gathered strength and emerged again. On my screen I could see 4 leaves of a plant that could be Embroidery.
