Here is another I haven't seen flower before. I call it "Big Curl" because the leaves have a big wave to them. The flowers form in clusters up the scape.

Some seed pods on one of the Miss Angie seedlings - I rarely see dark pods like this. These are on "Miss Selene".

I noticed these weird structures on one of the plants today.
It's a Katsuragawa Beni seedling from 2008.

This one opened this morning - three flowers on two scapes. I showed it last season just labeled Big Quad.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57978&p=500378&hili ... ad#p500378

I got better flower photos today - the colored "fringe" showed-up a lot better but one flowers has an "O" on the petals at the base of the center stripe:

I just noticed the color at the end of the style. I don't think I have ever noticed color there before. Normally the style is just white leading up to the stigma. I noticed a purple blur on the first photo but the last one shows it pretty well. The other flowers show the purple also but it's just a blur.
Cropped from last photo - still a little fuzzy:

Two flowers opened today and one of them has the "O" on the petal - not as good as the first one but still there.

And they all have some purple color at the end of the style.

Here's a different angle.
Big Quad 14 V-1 - September 6, 2016

That dark center area reminds me of another of Art's plants Otter Point (a.k.a #114). There are differences but I need to get a photo of the style on Otter Point. The foliage is similar but there are a couple of others with similar leaves and totally different flowers. I check the style today on a large number of flowers and they all only white.

I was thinking that the purple on the end of the style was unique and then I found it on Chariots of Fire today. It even has a purple stripe running down the style.

This one opened today. I don't think I have seen it flower before. My label says "Smokey seedling" but that was a guess made a couple of years ago. I now think its a seedling from longipes latifolia. The leaf color and shape are similar along with a white back. The flower has the simple "swoosh" down the middle similar to longipes latifolia.

Found something "new" in the garden the other day that made me look back at some old photos. I found that I had missed posting this flower from a couple of years ago in this Art Wrede topic. It's one of the Miss Angie seedlings I have been growing - labeled as Q1-C.
Miss Angie seedling Q1-C - August 23, 2015

A couple of seasons ago I posted an Art Wrede #56 --

I lost track of it after I had re-potted it but just found it again. It's a little sunburned. Hope I can catch it in flower this season.

I separated out the streaker I showed a month ago from Miss Angie seedling Q1-C. It came out with a good root system and a piece of crown. If it survives, I'm going to name it "Miss Avery-Rose". The "Miss" is because it is a seedling of Art Wrede's Miss Angie and because he uses the "Miss" in many of his plants. The Avery-Rose is for my newest granddaughter.

Tearing the pot apart left me a bunch of pieces of Q1-C. There was a lot of material.

I don't remember if I have posted photos of flowers from this one. I'm adding it to this topic but it's not one of Art Wrede's plants. It's a seedling from Roger Smith - a cross of a Swoosh sdlg X Grand Marquee - that he gave to Art many years ago. When Art gave his plant collection to Roger, I helped with the move and took the pot to grow it out - it was tiny with a streaked seedling and a couple that looked like this - green with a thin white edge. The streaker is still alive but has never gotten big like its siblings.

The Miss Angie seedling, I took apart late in June to get the streaked piece out, seems to have survived the ordeal and is putting up new leaves that have some streaking. (Please ignore my foot - I'm holding the pot so there is some distortion in size.)

It's the leaves at the bottom. I tried to get the pot out and was attacked by ants.

I think I have finally come up with a garden name for this 'Katsuragawa Beni' seedling dated 2008 - "Maryland Longhorns".
