'Tickle Me Pink' - daily hosta - please add your photos

'Tickle Me Pink'
Leaves emerge bright yellow-chartreuse on red petioles with red tips and some red brushed across the shiny backs. As the season progresses, the leaves become a golden color with a slight sheen. Fuchsia-pink buds emerge in September on dark scapes and, as the cooler weather comes, the leaves are again kissed with touches of red. 'One Man's Treasure' x 'Squash Casserole'. Small-medium.

Mine was new spring 2014 and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching this one from my kitchen window as it got increasingly more intense yellow.

First photo July 27 when it was still in a pot.

This photo Sept. 2 after I planted it in a garden location. The yellow leaves at this point were nearly as intense as 'Fire Island' is in the spring. For awhile I had its pot sitting under my maple tree with a couple other hostas in pots and the one really shone and was very noticeable from a distance. Definitely passes the 10' rule.

2015 - July 03. Earlier in the season - the yellow is not as bright.

2015 - Aug. 13. Much more intense yellow colour. But the tips of the leaves were not as pink this year as last.

2016 update - still love this hosta which really GLOWS late in the season.
