Hosta 'The King'

Post by tsbccowboy »

This photo is of a young Hosta 'The King'. All I can say is "grow baby, grow"! I think it is going to be a really nice Hosta when it grows up.

Does anyone have more photos of 'The King'?

Hoping I have a better picture for The King in 2015. This is what I got from Hallson's last fall.

Looks like its going to be a nice sized plant, nice to see unfurling Hosta, about 1/2 of mine are finally breaking ground. Only one starting to unfurl is Francee. Said on the news this morning that we are a month behind schedule for plants. Only flowers I have in bloom are Hellebores, Anenome Blanda and Daffodils. Hyacinths are half the size they normally are. Astilbes are leafing out also. Shrubs and trees are budding too. My guess is May will be more productive. :-?
