What hostas which emerge early each spring before the other cultivars? Help me update the list.
Someone mentioned 'Blue Silver', 'Rainbow's End', and 'Wolverine'...do those emerge very early for you?

Wolverine is definitely an early one for me. Of course Montana Aureomarginata is always really early too. I'll try to watch out for others this spring. I don't remember rainbow's end being really early but will check.

Spartan Arrow, and Invincible have been first up for me for over 11 years of taking notes. Sweet Home Chicago always follows them.

I have quite a few that have already unfurled leaves, but we have had an unusually warm Feb. breaking the record. Undulata albomarginata, Golden Tiara, Cherry Berry, Warwick Curtsey, Vivacious, Cracker Crumbs, Red October, Katsuragawa beni, One Man's Treasure, Hi Ho Silver, Punky, Designer Genes, Lily Pad, Dixie Chickadee are the ones that are already up here.

Don, all my Tiaras are starting to unfurl: 'Golden Tiara', 'Platinum Tiara', 'Grand Tiara', 'Amber Tiara' and 'Emerald Tiara'. 'Hacksaw' is going strong, 'Teaspoon', 'Cinnamon Sticks', 'Little Red Rooster', 'Lemon Frost', 'Feather Boa' and 'Sea Thunder' are all unfurling.
Having said all that, we're early here out West, even for us. It's been a very mild winter, I started seeing cataphylls on 'Cinnamon Sticks' late February. Last year 'Ray of Hope' was barely breaking ground by mid-March, this year it's unfurling. Last year I had a number of Dicentra spectabilis that were starting to show decent growth by mid-March, this year they're in bloom already, so it's mild and early for us in Canada's banana belt.

My earliest ones this year are Alligator Shoes, Invincible, both of my Luna Moths and Climax.
