Unusual flower

Post by hostaanita »

This is a Hosta I started from seed about 10 years ago. I always loved it . It has huge leaves with heavy texture . I had so many varieties before my move, I I never really noticed the flower . But here it is. I can't wait until it opens.

Very pretty, with incredible branching too. Do you think it is a fasciated scape causing it? If so it might not repeat this again, but either way it is really attractive.

I think it is. We'll see how it looks when it opens.
