Sunburn?

Post by redcrx »

Is anyone else noticing a lot more sunburn on plants this season? I have lots showing sunburn that didn't burn in previous seasons.

I don't have much problem with sunburn but frost/freeze damage and the spring desiccation type burn is on going to be bad on a few varieties. One thing I have been pointing out to people is that the hostas were up about 6 weeks earlier than normal BUT the trees leafed out on schedule. So the hostas have been exposed to the sun more than usual this spring. Maybe that has had something to do with it at your place too.
