Hosta of the Day - Red Bull

Post by redcrx »

'Red Bull' is a large green hosta with very dark petioles and darker scapes.

I was out in my garden this morning looking for a couple of potted plants I had an interest in to do some comparisons - I couldn't them.
But while I was looking I noticed 'Red Bull' was in flower so I pulled it out to get some photos. It didn't have any flowers opened today. I should be able to get photos tomorrow.
The lateral scapes must be from its 'Maya Kingsnake' parentage.
