Hosta of the Day - Evening Star

Postby redcrx » Aug 26, 2017 12:26 pm

Evening Star is a small light green hosta. The MyHostas Database has very little on this plant. BUT in Zilis's Hostapedia there is a lot of information, such as, this plant was once known as Blue Star for the color and shape of its flowers. The plant was renamed after someone else registered a plant with the name 'Blue Star'.

I have it growing in a trough where it is getting "big".
Some of these photos are also on the 'Strawberry Banana Smoothie' topic because they are in the same trough.
