Hosta of the Day - Salvation Army

Post by redcrx »

Salvation Army is an all green medium sized plant with a shiny leaf top and bottom.

Hosta Registry - Not registered

Hosta Library - Not yet in the Hosta Library

I received two of these from Chris this season. Hopefully I get to see the flowers this season.

I put one in a pot and the other went into my garden with some unexpected results - it got eaten by deer. Deer haven't been a problem since I a fence put in. Once in a while I get some activity - there are some low spots in the fence. But in this instance the only plant eaten was Salvation Army.

And in the garden - it's at the bottom of the photo. That's Smokey in the trough with a little nibble taken out of it. Top/right is Krossa Regal. I think the big green center/left is an all green sport of Ginko Craig growing is a trough.
