A lady in Canada that has some to die for Clematis shared seeds with me from some of her blue ones. 4 years later here is the last one to bloom!

That is reeeeeeaaaaly pretty, Karma! :D

I don't know much about clematis. I thought I've heard they don't grow true to type from seed....is that true? Do you have pics of the others you got from her? Are they similar? Those are really nice!

eastwood2007, from what I am seeing I would say that is true but again you can come close. Here are a the others that bloomed last year.

Oh, wow! Karma, that first pic in that set is really lovely with the ruffled edges. Very nice!

Now my next lesson is learning to root them from cuttings, What fun!! I have done a few but need to do more before I'm
comfortable. Any tips are welcome, I'm doing them directly in dirt.
