My Clematis vines like their new home.

Post by GrannyNanny »

I finally got pictures of some of my clematis vines, which are along the side of the house, facing west, at our new home. They really like it there -- they've bloomed better there than they ever did at my old house. One is in the front of the house, under the eaves -- a 'Silver Moon', which is the only clematis I know of that will grow and bloom in part shade. Here they are -- Phyllis

Beautiful!
I had good luck in partial shade (2-3hrs sun) at the old house with some of the paler clems. They would fad badly in full sun.
