Such beauty! I haven't checked in this forum for a couple of months. I can't believe I missed this.
I'm going to get my little pond in this year if it's the last thing I do!!! Have had the liner and pump for 2 years now, and so far haven't been able to get help lined up. Maybe if I just start digging, my family will feel sorry for me and come to help?  :o
Got any more pics? I'd love to see more!

Do you have to drag all those exotics indoors for the winter? I'm surprised you can get them to flower in Iowa.

I love your pond, Josh, and your lily pads and your pond lilies. Is that a natural pond? Everything looks so healthy.

Thanks again, everyone.

The ponds aren't very photogenic, yet, this year. The hardy lilies are just starting to bloom nicely. The tropicals are still adjusting to their new, "arctic" climate

Mary Ann, these are all man made, rubber lined ponds.

Grunt, a lot of the tropical marginals spend the winter in the greenhouse. The tropical lilies we usually treat as annuals, though it is possible to keep them from year to year if you want to go to the trouble. They do fantastic during the summer, though. We do have to wait until the first of June to put them out, but they are right at home in our hot, humid summers.
