Hi, Rocco,

Haven't seen you in a long time! How are you?

Loved that pond when you took me to see it! And then the loganberries on the roadside...the one and only time I ever have seen them. When I saw the subject line of your post, I feared you were going to tell us that the area was being developed and it was lost to all. Do you know anything about the ownership of the land and the possible future of the pond?

Viktoria

Hi, Viktoria,
It's good hearing from you.I am well, and still able to do a bit of gardening!

The pond is privately owned and well posted, they allow the reeds and brush to grow along the edge of the bank
by the road to help hide the pond from view. The uniqueness of the pond is the Lotus,if they were gone,it would merely be a shallow swampy pond, and if they are an invasive species... they are so beautiful, who cares?
Kind regards...Rocco.
