Jade tree

Post by mommatina »

I sure hope someone can help... I have a very large Jade tree.. Lots of branches.. it is in a very large pot... it belonged to a very dear friend of mine and was given to me when she died a year ago.. it was beautiful.. but it has started to wither away.. the brances slowely start to shrivel up and fall off.. my friend had it for years.. at least 10.. I thought I knew how to take care of it.. but I guess not.. please help...

Well, it sounds like it is either too much water or too little. If you can gently lift the pot to inspect the roots they will tell a lot. Too much water and they will be rotted and the plant will shrivel, too little and they will be dessicated and the plant will shrivel. Also. mine seem to like a lot of indirect light.

Hope that helps

How often and how deeply are you watering it?
