Night temps ?

Post by thy »

What are the normal low night temps in your area ?

Our night temps can be as low as .. around 10 C/ 50 F .. in Midsummer :(

Sometimes I feel it can drive me crazy... No way I can sit outdoor late evening ... and I love to sit outdoor in the evenings doing nothing at all

I love it when we get a night that goes down into the 50's so we can open the windows and let the cool air in. It doesn't happen often, though. What I hate are the summer nights when the temps only go down into the 70's and the humidity stays very high. There's no chance for the house to cool off before the sun comes up and heats things up again. I like to walk around my garden at dusk, or sit and watch the stars appear and hear the night sounds. Last night I needed a jacket, but didn't go back to get one. It was pretty chilly! It went down into the 50's last night, and it was so nice to sleep with windows open!

Agree with Linda. And when it drops to 50 the skeeters stay away.

I looked to see what our evening temperatures will be this week when we are hitting the low 80's during the day. The nights will be 50-57. We never go out on any evening in the summer without grabbing a jacket. I'm glad it's cool enough to sleep at nights, I have spent some miserable nights that are hot and humid. Ugh! We have gone from 4 blankets to 2 blankets this past week.

It been rainy here and the temps in the 70 and 80s during the day. The nights have been in the upper 60s , which feels so nice. Still...that's a bit cool for July here, but I'm not complaining.
